Hello, fellow crafters! Today, I am thrilled to share a clean, simple, yet striking card project that is all about letting your creativity bloom. This design features gorgeous Lenten Grace flowers and a beautifully soft, glowing background that makes the entire piece pop.
Whether you are looking for a calming afternoon crafting session or need some fresh inspiration for a heartfelt handmade note, this card is incredibly fun to put together. 😊
I’ve included photos of the other colors used for the same design at the end of this post.
Here is a step-by-step look at how to bring this elegant floral design to life.

1. Stamping the Outline
To begin, select a high-quality floral outline stamp featuring blooms, like these beautiful Lentens. First, stamp the image with a light ink for the ink-blending.
2. Adding Vibrancy with Ink Blending
Once your outline is set, it’s time to bring the flowers to life!
- The Blooms: Use a rich, deep berry or plum ink with a small blending brush to add color to the petals, leaving slight highlights toward the tips for natural dimension.
- Adding Color: Continue to add darker shades and a hint of dark blue to all the petals.
- The Foliage: Blend a crisp green onto the leaves and stems to contrast beautifully with the deep purple tones.
- The Background Glow: To make the flowers truly stand out, pick up a soft, warm yellow ink. Starting gently from the edges of the floral cluster, blend the yellow outward into a seamless, radiating glow across the rest of the white card panel.
- For easy background blending, mask your flowers and leaves

3. Sentiments & Finishing Touches
A beautiful card deserves the perfect message. Stamp a meaningful sentiment—like “you make life blossom”—in a bold, clean font near the bottom right to balance the weight of the floral cluster.
Finally, scatter a few coordinating enamel dots around the design. Mixing deeper berry tones with soft purple dots adds a touch of playful texture and guides the eye beautifully across the card.
Those Other Shades/Projects
Here’s some still shots of the same design with different shades of ink.
