Hello and welcome to April’s challenge. I’m excited about this challenge, as the inspiration image really got my juices flowing.
I usually only create 1 card for these challenges, but I was so inspired I created 4.
The image below is used.
The Cards
Card 1
For this card, I used dye inks and Altenew’s watercolor brush markers. This project is one of my favorites, and a technique I need to use more often. I love how this card turned out. See my video below to see how I created it.


Card 2
This is another favorite. This design was the first card I created. I love how bold it is – with a red rose and green leaves over dark ink blending, and dripping ink from the blend.


Card 3
Here’s another card with watercolor brush markers. I dry embossed the panel and colored the flowers, leaves and background. I was pretty loose with the coloring, and didn’t pay much attention to creating details. You can see how this was created in the video above.

Card 4
This card, similar to card 2, where I created red roses, with an ink blended background and dripping ink.
