I am so excited about this stamp set! I have been looking for a dragonfly stamp for a while now and I wanted something that really popped, but wasn’t able to find anything that spoke to me – till now. The example on the packaging alone is stunning.

For some reason this stamp set popped up on a search on Amazon, and it’s not a stamp set that ever came up when I specifically searched for a dragonfly stamp in the past – on any website.
I know I’ve barely scratched the surface with this stamp set, and I have a lot of ideas for the large dragonfly itself. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the time I needed to try them all this weekend.
Supplies
- Pink Ink Designs Dragonfly Stamp Set
- Zig Real Brush Markers
- Archival Ink Jet Black
- Spectrum Noir Sparkle Glitter Brush Pen
- Distress Oxides
- Floral Texture Background Stamp
The Cards
Stamping the wings together, masking off the wings and stamping the body worked beautifully. They fit together perfectly.
Wings Body Wings and Body
Colouring the dragonfly body was pretty easy, and for the cards in this post, I used the colour blue as my primary colour, as I always see large blue dragonflies in my area.
I made masks to cover both the wings and body, and stamped both panels with a background stamp using distress oxide ink.
I wasn’t able capture the light blue and minimal green I used on the wings on camera, but to the naked eye, it is there. I also used a shimmer brush on the wings which was also hard to capture.

I have so many ideas for this stamp set, so stay tuned for more Dragonfly cards. 😁
