I thought this would be a good post for both cardmakers and crepe paper flower makers.
Sizzix has had their Flower Making Collection out for a while now, and because I also make crepe paper flowers, these products caught my attention.
I did reach out to scrapbook.com and ask which country the crepe paper came from, as there is a difference between these papers depending on where they’re made. The response was this paper is made in China. You can see my blog post (with video) where I discuss the different types of crepe paper for flower making.
I also purchased a couple of the Sizzix die sets for use with their crepe paper – Classic Rose and Carnation. I decided on these flowers for a couple reasons – first, I’ve never made a crepe paper carnation, and second, I’ve never been very good at putting together a classic rose.

In the video below, I will use the carnation dies and their papers from the Vintage crepe paper pack. I will also do a quick review of the quality of the paper.
In my opinion, this is a great starter set for anyone looking to start making crepe paper flowers.
