Hello again and welcome to the next level 2-class – Impressive Heat Embossing!!!
This class was a cinch for me – I will admit, though, when I first started heat embossing, there was a learning curve, and I worried I was wasting my time with this technique. With that said, over time I got much better and now I don’t have to re-do my projects cause I made a mess of things.
One of the other reasons I’m excited about this class is I got to use Altenew’s Happy Eight personalized stamp set I received in the mail. I was so excited when I opened this envelope and saw my own name on an Altenew stamp set I literally jumped up and down. š

Supplies
- Altenew’s Happy Eight Personalized Stamp Set
- Altenew Dye Inks – Pink Pearl, Coral Bliss, Sunkissed, Lagoon, Parrot, Olive
- WOW Embossing Powders – Rose Gold and Aquamarine
- Altenew – Bold Numerals Die Set
- Altenew – Birthday Greetings Sentiment
- Versamark Ink
- White Embossing Powder
- Dazzling Diamond Glitter Cardstock
- Antique Gold Sequins

Card 1
This first card is my favorite. I thought I would utilize my new stamp and pay homage to Altenew’s 8th anniversary and I love how it turned out. I was a bit worried about using rose gold embossing powder, and a silver-glittered die-cut with antique gold sequins on the same card, but I love it!
I used my small ink blending brushes and blended my inks over my stamped and embossed image, ensuring I kept inside the lines.
I just love how the ‘8’ sits so perfectly under the cut-off leaf.

Card 2 and 3
I used a similar technique but with my watercolor Zig Markers and a glitter embossing powder. Now the Aquarmarine embossing powder is really a stunning embossing powder, but I found that it can easily be removed after heating it up. I went over it with my heat tool a few times because it doesn’t change its appearance when melting it like your regular embossing powders.
I created a duplicate card (second card) because I wasn’t fond of the amount of splatter or colors on the first card I made.

The next class looks interesting – Magical Marker Techniques. See you there.
