I love this window card. I love the vellum behind the die cuts, placed on either side of my window. I’ve used this design a few times, once was for a valentine’s card for my husband using a heart window instead of a circle. It’s a great design and it can be altered to fit he occasion.

- Fun Foam
The Card
First, I die cut my circle on my upper panel. I will be using fun foam to lift this panel, giving my card dimension, while my sentiment will sit on my (black) base panel.
I took my shaded lilac and blended the color on my vellum. Because the vellum doesn’t absorb the ink and sits on top of the vellum, once I die cut my roses, I glued them to the back side of my blended vellum. I cut off the excess vellum around the die cut roses.
I lined up my 2 panels and position my sentiment in the middle of the circle. I stamped my mother’s day sentiment with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.
I blended some of the shaded lilac on my clustered leaves, but also left some of the leaves white and added those to my base panel, while adding the colored ones to the upper panel. Then added my roses to both sides of my window.

I wish I could take credit for this design, but it was created by an Altenew designer. I’ve tried to find it again but I’ve had no luck, as I would love to give credit where credit is due.
