Hello, fellow crafters! I’m here with another Altenew Ambassador project.
This was a fun project. I enjoy playing around with different techniques with dies, and this project was lots of fun. I knew exactly what I was going to do with this Mini Delight as soon as I saw it.
I ink blended the die-cuts in Dusty Pink and Raspberry Sunset. By popping them up with foam tape, they create physical depth and shadows on the card.

Notice how only the flowers inside the lenses are colored? This “magnifying” effect is a great way to add a splash of color while keeping the rest of the floral cluster elegant and simple in black ink.

The photo above shows a second card I created, but on this one you can see more of the flowers. I also noticed is looks like someone is slightly cross-eyed with the flower centers sitting where they are. 😬

To add a bit more color to this project, I added a soft, seamless ink-blended yellow, fading into a clean white base. This creates a “sunlit” effect, which is such a beautiful addition to any card.
