Hello, crafters! Now that it’s the new year, and the hustle and bustle of the holidays is over, I can get back to creating more projects.

We start the month with another A Place to Start project challenge.

January, 2025 – Anything Goes W/Optional Twist: Include A Balloon

This is one of my favorite projects. I used a beautiful colored foil with a press plate and I love how it turned out.

This was an experiment, as I never thought I would use this foil on a plate like this, but the results are amazing!!

I used a circle die to cut the panel and lifted it with 3 layers of die cut circles in black underneath. I added some string to give the look of a balloon, an a simple birthday sentiment, and viola!
