It’s a Beautiful Day with Altenew’s Enchanted Flowers

Hello, crafters.

I have a new (to me) stamp set – this set came out around this time last year, and I don’t think it got the attention is deserves.

This is a beautiful image, and an easy stamp set to use. The sentiments are gorgeous and come with coordinating dies.

For this project, I used up some extra watercolor paper already colored from a previous project. What the photos don’t show is the shimmer on this paper, which also shines through the watercoloring I did on top of the back ground.

A lesson with this set is to use the press plate on watercolor paper. I used the stamp, but I had to press hard on my stampwheel and I did A LOT of impressions. I only purchased the stamp and dies, as I didn’t think I would need to reach for the press plate – that’ll learn me!! 😏
