Creative Zero Waste Die Projects

Altenew - Dies - Zero-Waste - Wildflower Meadow

Hello! For this post, I’m going to show 2 amazing projects with a Zero Waste die.

For the first project, I adhered 2 pieces of white cardstock together with an adhesive sheet, and ran the zero waste die through the machine. Because both panels were adhered together the die cut didn’t cut all the way through. This gives a very textured look.

You could leave the panel as it is, but I came in with some inks and blended from top to bottom. I wanted to keep the colors soft, yet bright.

I also added a double-sided sheet to a black A2 card panel and ran it through my die machine. I removed all the die cuts from the negative space and adhered the negative space to the ink-blended panel, ensuring to line up each flower, leaf and dot.

I have a lot of left over die cuts from the zero-waste die from a previous project, so I used a couple to surround my sentiment.

For the next project, I used the left over black die-cuts with the adhesive on the back. I pulled some Berrylicious Cardstock, used an extra sheet of the die’s negative die-cut, and adhered the black die cuts on the cardstock, fitting them into the negative space like a puzzle.

I removed the negative space to leave just the die-cuts.

Topped this project off with the Creative Labels die and stamp set and a few gemstones on some of the flowers.
