Bauble Shaker Card

There’s a lot of sparkle on this card. A bit more than I had initially anticipated, but it’s a Christmas card, so it’s not bad, right? Ha! Anything goes, right? So more Christmas cards it is!

It’s hard to capture how bright this card is on camera but it gets close.

The Card

I like to use foam core for my shaker cards. If able, I like to use the same die to cut my open area on my foam core as I do the card panel. I’ve tried using my foam tape but this takes a lot longer, especially if the window isn’t a basic square. I always seem to mess it up with foam tape, so if I can avoid it, I do.

I’ve used the Simon Says Stamp Wreath Greetings multiple times, as it’s a versatile stamp set for all occasions. I can create leafy branches, wreaths or foliage for any occasion. I also used StazOn Black Ink, which is great to use on vellum and acetate without any smudging.

Most of the bling comes from my dollar store adhesive paper. This stuff is great! I reach for this all the time around Christmas. So much sparkle!!!
